A watchmaker is an artisan who makes and repairs watches. Since a majority of watches are now factory-made, most modern watchmakers only repair watches. However, originally they were master craftsmen who built watches, including all their parts, by hand.

Justice Magagane is our Master of knowledge and owner of the business, having qualified in 1978 as Watchmaker from the Watchmakers of Switzerland Technical Centre in Pretoria. This specialised technical centre has since closed down. With 47+ years as Watchmaker under his belt, there is little anyone can tell Justice about the machinations of watches… 

Eddie Magagane, trainee watchmaker and future business partner is being taught the skills of the trade under the expert guidance of the Master himself, blending old-world craftmanship with a new legacy, ensuring the art endures. Watch this space!
